Cancer Assistance Halton Hills (CAHH) extends a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to the Middleton Family for their very generous legacy donation of $40,813.03.
Bernard and Eva Middleton lived full, generous lives in Georgetown. They built their family home on Orchard Blvd in 1957, creating a place filled with love, hard work, and community. For 52 years they nurtured their garden, welcomed neighbours, and built a life rooted in simple joys and shared adventures. In 2009, they embraced a new chapter, retiring to a condo where they continued to enjoy life—still tending a small garden that brought them comfort and purpose.
In their later years, both faced cancer with courage and grace. Their primary caregiver lived four hours away, which made it difficult for them to provide the assistance they would have liked. During those times, Cancer Assistance Halton Hills stepped in with compassion and reliability providing transportation, and practical home care support. The support they received from CAHH became an essential part of the Middleton’s cancer journey and a source of reassurance for their family.
We thank them both for giving back and helping others who are dealing with a cancer diagnosis in Halton Hills.
